The George offers delicious dishes simply prepared using the finest local and British produce. Our food can be enjoyed in either our restaurant or lounge area.

With mouth-watering dishes including local Char-grilled Castlegate rib-eye steak with grilled portobello mushroom, tomatoes and hand cut chips or our pan roasted fillet of Brill with smoked bacon, mussel in cider chowder and chorizo croquettes – our menu has something to please everyone dining at the George. 

Our lunch menu is served from 12.00.pm to 2.30.pm and dinner 6.30.pm to 9.00.pm

Our famous afternoon tea menu is served from 12.00.pm to 5.30.pm.
